How we work.
We are not a fund. There are three of us, and we put our own capital to work. When we buy a business, we are the ones running it, not a portfolio manager two states away.
We care about what happens to the people who work there. We keep good teams in place, honor relationships with customers and vendors, and do not gut the business to hit a number.
We close what we say we will close. We do not re-trade at the finish line. If we shake hands on a deal, we follow through.
We move at a reasonable pace. We ask straightforward questions, give you straight answers, and tell you early if something is not going to work.
